Calls for Justice

In a land that calls women divine,
Nirbhaya’s story still stings, still binds.
Her cries for justice lost in delay,
Her suffering shows the broken way.

At RG kar Medical, a doctor’s plight,
In a country where doctors are seen as light.
Promises broken, safety a shell,
Women’s rights too often fail.

Leaders speak but rarely act,
Their promises hollow, their plans cracked.
Even the CJI warns, so clear,
If workplaces can’t ensure safety here,
It’s a violation of rights we hold dear,
Equality’s promise seems unclear.

The West Bengal CM, a lady too,
Speaks with a speed that's false and untrue.
Her responses shameless, her actions slow,
Ignoring the cries that only grow.

We need strict laws to ensure our safety,
Fast-track courts to handle cases swiftly.
Stop blaming all men for the actions of few,
Not all are guilty, not all are untrue.

We honor goddesses but fail to act,
To bring the change and make things fact.
We too have mother, daughter, and sister dear,
If we don’t raise our voice, our own fears draw near.

No more delays, no more lies,
Let’s fight for justice and brighter skies.
For in every home, in every space,
We seek a world where all find grace.
